"Diego de Montemayor: Founder of Monterrey"
"The Garzas of Lepe and the Canary Island Conversos"
and "The Garzas of Monterrey: The Early Years"
The book has almost 300 pages of content and mentions the Garza family in just about every chapter. It includes details of the 1526 auto de fe where Alonso de la Garza and his sister Constanza de la Garza became well known throughout the Canary Islands for being burned at the stake. When the Island's government got wind that they had been practicing Judaism in secret, they decided to make an example of them for all to see and remember.

When my copy of the book had finally come in the mail, I couldn't put it down. Learning more about my heritage has really helped me to understand myself better as to why I am the way I am. Every Garza should know about our awesome history. We are definitely a special breed of individuals that have overcome some pretty amazing challenges and I believe have been put on this earth to strengthen and uplift others. Let me know if you end up getting it and what you think of it. I really like it.
